Editor’s note
Esteemed colleagues,
dear readers of “Medical Word”,,
There is the fifteenth issue of our journal in front of you, which is a collection of summaries of plenary lectures for all participants and introductory lectures at the round tables of the sections and societies of the National Association of Healthcare Workers of Serbia from the association’s XX jubilee congress, which is being held from October 10th to 13th 2024, traditionally in Vrnjačka Banja. The rich program of the congress, a large number of professional announcements, and various topics of lectures are an indication of the great interest of healthcare workers from various fields to share their experiences from their daily work. Once again, the Congress is an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and developing joint strategies for future work. Teamwork in health care and education of all staff are indispensable factors for quality professional action and meeting the requirements of modern medicine, that is, the needs of patients, with a special emphasis on the exchange of strategies and experiences at the international level, which is what makes this congress stand out.
We invite you to take steps together and to join the efforts to achieve the highest standards in our work. We also invite you to take part in the work of all the next congresses of the Association but also to take an active part in the development of our journal, which is already taking big steps to gain a serious place among the professional public.
