Abstract

The clinical presentation of bone fractures is so characteristic that an experienced physician can recognize most, even very complex fractures by clinical examination. Although the clinical examination for most traumatized patients with bone fractures is unpleasant, often very painful, it is necessary as a guide for the radiological examination (X-ray, MSCT). The aim of the study is the x-ray picture of the variety of fractures of the bones of the human skeleton, while the material of the work consists of 100,000 selected radiographs with fractures of the bones of the skeleton, collected over several decades of work in the profession and literal reports. The results of the work are presented illustratively. The authors conclude that radiological examination methods in the diagnosis of skeletal bone fractures are sovereign, dominant and unparalleled, and that their radiological picture is pathognomonic.
