Dear readers, dear colleagues and friends,

In front of you there is a new issue of your and our journal which contains five scientific professional papers, from of which there are two interesting case reports from the field of pediatric surgery, two original papers from the fields of psychiatry and cardiology, and the third presenting an analysis of a survey on alcohol use in adolescents, which represents an important psychosocial problem of modern times. Colleagues from the entire region participated in the creation of this issue of the journal with their manuscripts, and we especially thank them for sharing their results and experiences with us.We hope that in this issue of the journal you will also read something that will be interesting and useful to you.

At the end of the old year and at the dawn of the New Year 2026, we wish you a lot of health, happiness and success in personal and professional endeavors with the desire to continue successful cooperation in an effort to make the journal “Medical word” better and better with each new issue.
