Dehidratacija kod dece na planini – uzroci i praktični saveti

Apstrakt
Boravak u prirodi i brojni povoljni uticaji na zdravlje i prevenciju bolesti čine planinarenje fizičkom aktivnošću koja se preporučuje svim uzrastima. Međutim, i ova aktivnost nije bez apsolutnog rizika po zdravlje, s obzirom na to da se veliki deo planinarskih akcija održava na visinama preko 2000 m nadmorske visine (visokogorstvo), koje mogu trajati i po nekoliko dana. Tada se, pored rizika uslovljenih potencijalno neadekvatnom psihofizičkom kondicijom i ambijentalnim uslovima (npr. uganuće zglobova, ujedi insekata, promrzline/toplotni udar, akutna visinska bolest…), mora misliti i na problem nedovoljne hidratacije, pogotovo u letnjim uslovima. Kao posledica dehidratacije mogu se javiti ozbiljni poremećaji zdravlja koji ponekada zahtevaju neodložnu stručnu intervenciju. Zbog toga se poznavanje količine vode, tempa unosa i faktora koji dovode do povećane potrebe organizma za vodom, kao i opšta fiziologija telesnih tečnosti i njihova regulacija preporučuju svakom planinaru koji se odvaži na kondiciono i/ili tehnički zahtevno planinarsko iskustvo. Na visokogorskim akcijama se, međutim, mogu naći i najmlađi (čak i mlada odojčad), koju sve češće srećemo na letnjim akcijama. Uključivanje dece u planinarske aktivnosti jeste afirmativno, ali je, isto tako, poznato da su oni u odnosu na odrasle pod većim rizikom za akutne poremećaje zdravlja, uključujući i dehidrataciju. Cilj ovog članka je da, nakon opšteg uvoda, pruži korisne praktične savete za prevenciju dehidratacije najmlađih na planini, kako bi se psihofizičke blagodeti planinarenja i boravka na svežem vazduhu izrazili u punom obimu, kako za dete, tako i za roditelje.
