Hipodoncija: klinički značaj, prevalencija i interdisciplinarni terapijski pristup

Apstrakt

Hipodoncija, definisana kao razvojno odsustvo jednog ili više zuba, predstavlja jednu od najčešćih dentalnih anomalija u humanoj populaciji. Ova studija ima za cilj analizu prevalencije hipodoncije u mlečnoj i stalnoj denticiji i to kroz pregled literature, kao i identifikaciju faktora koji utiču na njen nastanak. Učestalost hipodoncije varira u zavisnosti od populacije i klasifikuje se prema broju nedostajućih zuba. Etiologija je multifaktorska, sa dominantnom ulogom genetskih faktora, pri čemu mutacije gena uključenih u odontogenezu mogu dovesti do pojave hipodoncije, kako u izolovanom obliku, tako i u sklopu različitih sindroma. Klinička slika često obuhvata i mikrodontiju, hipoplaziju gleđi, ektopično nicanje i poremećaje okluzije. Terapijski pristup je kompleksan i zahteva multidisciplinarnu saradnju, uključujući ortodontske, protetske i hirurške procedure. Planiranje terapije mora biti individualizovano, uzimajući u obzir funkcionalne i estetske zahteve pacijenta.
